Mialisia Team Diamond Designers
Here are some ideas
for Fashion Event Introduction:
1.
Comfortable and simply intro. Puts guests at ease when they know what expectations and plans for the
night are.
2.
Explain that we have 3 purposes: Find
Customers, Find hosts or "Fashionistas"...who want to host a fashion event and earn free
jewelry, and Find Designers...women who want to make some extra
money.
3.
On the business opportunity...keep it
light/soft approach and say, "You may be interested in
becoming a designer or you may know someone who would be a great designer and
who likes to have fun and be creative. It takes the pressure off but yet gets
them thinking about them doing what the designer does.
4.
Simple display shows how duplicateable this
business is. See how simple her display is? Not even a
fancy table or forms. Not saying you have to do this as it is nice to display
the pieces during the intro (allows them to have ideas for later). Though keeping
the jewelry in the mat does keep them from looking around at the beginning and
asking all these questions before you had a chance to properly explain the
concept. I recommend using the mats as this allows you to
simply lay the jewelry out and women may find it more inviting to try on. Some
may feel bad taking it off a beautiful display.
5.
Give each guest a clipboard with order
form up front. Explain to view it as a wish list/no
obligation/star items that are your very favorites. Women are more comfortable
putting some of their basic info on it if they know it could be used just as a
wish list and they don’t have to buy that night. This also makes the close
easier at the end and less time consuming for you.
6.
Explain how you are them to help them.
Ask, “Who buys you gift? Husbands, Boyfriends, Grandparents, Friends, Parents,
etc. I am going to help them out by sharing some of your favorites with them
around your anniversary, birthday, and shopping holidays.” Explain “that many
spouses are clueless and scramble and stress out trying to buy them a gift and
get something that guarantees you like and would want”. Explain that you are
helping them. When you look at sales this way it makes it so much easier to
place an order for them rather than “closing” your friends to help you to make
money.
7.
Explain the great quality of the jewelry
8.
Let them know that after you play with
it...at the end you will have specials to tell them about. It
keeps women from leaving early because who wants to miss a sale?
9.
Explain that they can be the trendsetter among
all their friends by sharing this new concept with them and showing them your
VersaStyle jewelry. We all like to have the inside scoop and share new fashion
ideas
10.
Explain Annelise's story and
how the jewelry came about and the value and benefits of the jewelry.
11.
Get the guests to laugh and have fun as
part of the introduction. It relaxes them and shows that you want to
laugh and have fun.
12.
Demos some looks not on yourself...but
invite guests up. As you do this, the other women say how cute she
looks (who doesn't like to hear that?). I would add that you should have
several mirrors so the guest up front can see how she looks (the more you get
the women "seeing" the jewelry on them....the more you increase your
sales. Notice how she leaves the jewelry on them (puppy dog close). Only one
mirror will decrease your sales. Pick up lightweight and simple mirrors. Buy
some stands so the mirrors are at the right height top stand up and see the
jewelry on them.
13.
Ask Good questions to uncover needs.
For example, “Think of your costume jewelry and how many of those have a
lifetime guarantee 1, 5, 10+ years from when you bought it?” Or “How many of
you have jewelry that you can only really wear with one outfit...due to the
style, color, neck line of what you are wearing, etc?” Or “What frustrations do
you have with your jewelry?” Follow it up with how this jewelry can solve the
problem(s)...adjustable, you can come up with your own designs, can wear it
around your neck, wrist, bracelet, ankle, boots, etc.
MOST IMPORTANT
OF ALL….YOU GOTTA BOOK PARTIES IN ORDER TO FIND CUSTOMERs, FASHIONISTAS,
AND DESIGNERS.
